Fiedorowicz Named to Weekly Honor Roll

MILWAUKEE - Senior Paige Fiedorowicz of the Marquette University women's basketball team was named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll announced by conference officials Monday. Fiedorowicz helped the Golden Eagles to a 4-0 start to the season, including a 63-49 win over Michigan.
Fiedorowicz averaged 12. 8 points over 24.3 minutes per game in four games. She finished MU's first week of play shooting 63.3 percent from the floor and played a key role in MU shooting 50 percent as a team in its first two wins. Her eight made field goals against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Nov. 13) matched a career-high.
Fiedorowicz followed that performance by matching a career-high with nine made free throws against Alcorn State (Nov. 15).
This weekly honor roll nod is the first of her career.
The Golden Eagles will take their four-game win streak on the road to Madison, Wis., where they will play Wisconsin on Wednesday, Nov. 24 at 6 p.m. at the Kohl Center. The game will be broadcast live on the Big Ten Network.
