Volleyball to Hold Toy Drive at Saturday's Match

MILWAUKEE - Support the Marquette University women's volleyball team and the Salvation Army this Thanksgiving holiday weekend by donating new or gently used toys at the Al McGuire Center during Saturday's match with Northern Illinois at 4 p.m. Toy drop locations will be designated in the building for any donation and all who donate will receive a $2 discount on match admission.
The Golden Eagles (22-9 overall) return to action after falling to Louisville Saturday in the program's second trip to the semifinals of the BIG EAST Conference Championship. Marquette defeated Pittsburgh in straight sets on Friday night, for its second BIG EAST tournament victory in school history. Senior setter Nikki Klingsporn was named to the all-tournament team for her play over the weekend, while fellow senior Rabbecka Gonyo and outside hitter Ashley Beyer were named to the 2010 All-BIG EAST First Team along with Klingsporn.
