Women's Soccer to Host Nebraska and UW-Milwaukee Sunday

MILWAUKEE - The Marquette women's soccer team will resume spring season play Sunday, April 11 when it hosts Nebraska and UW-Milwaukee at Valley Fields.
The Golden Eagles will play Nebraska, who finished 11-5-4, at 11 a.m., and Milwaukee, who won its sixth Horizon League Title and earned a berth in the NCAA Tournament, at 3:30 p.m. Admission is free for both games.
MU's game against Nebraska will last 60 minutes (two 30 minute halves), while the game versus Milwaukee will be a full 90 minutes. Both games will feature full squads.
The games Sunday against Nebraska and Milwaukee are part of a four-game homestand. Marquette will close out the homestand against DePaul and Wisconsin Saturday, April 17 at Valley Fields.
Marquette enters play 1-0-1 in spring action. The Golden Eagles opened the spring season in Texas with a 1-0 win over Baylor and a 2-2 draw at Texas A&M. Sophomores Lisa Philbin, Kerry McBride and Lindsay Page each scored goals for the Golden Eagles in their first weekend of play.
