Women's Basketball Announces 2010 Summer Camp Dates

MILWAUKEE - The Marquette women's basketball team has announced its 2010 Summer Camp Dates. The Golden Eagles will host four camps during the months of June-August.
Marquette women's basketball summer camps offer a chance for youth athletes to learn and interact with Marquette women's basketball players as well as the coaching staff. Campers will receive small group instruction by some of the BIG EAST Conference's finest players and coaches.
Marquette Elite Camp
- June 26-27
- Camp hours
June 26: 6-9 p.m.
June 27: 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
June 27: 1 p.m.-4 p.m. - Grades 9-12
- Cost: $100 (*an additional charge of $25 for resident campers) or $35 per session
Elite Camp is designed specifically for girls entering ninth through 12th grade. Varsity experience is not required to participate in this camp, however, it is intended to be an intense camp. This camp will focus on individual skill development and position work that campers will be able to utilize during competitive drills. The Marquette coaching staff and players will work with each camper.
High School Shoot Out
- June 12
- 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.
- Cost: $175/team (*an additional charge of $25 for resident campers)
The 2010 Team Shoot Out will offer valuable learning experience for each team while competing against other squads from the Midwest. High school varsity teams and summer teams are all welcome to participate. All teams are guaranteed four games and must have at least eight players. In addition, every camper will attend an NCAA eligibility session.
Marquette Individual Day Camp
- Grades 1-8
- Aug. 2-6
- 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
- Cost: $250
Individual day camp is a commuter camp designed for girls entering first through eighth grades. This camp will provide individual skill development, fundamental skill work in a fun and instructional atmosphere. The Individual Day Camp also includes position work, competitive drills, and various games/competitions. Lunch will be provided daily to all campers.
