MILWAUKEE - Senior Cheldon Brown's record-setting high jump at Notre Dame's Blue & Gold Invitational on Friday, Dec. 7 is the Marquette Track and Field Performance of the Week.
Brown notched an indoor personal-best mark of 6 feet, 9 inches (2.06 meters) in the high jump to claim the meet title over junior teammate Michael Saindon who placed second. Brown cleared the bar at 2.06 meters on his third attempt at the height.
Brown is a computer engineering major from Springfield, Ill.
The Golden Eagles will be back in action on Saturday, Jan. 12 at the Badger Classic in Madison, Wis.
