Marquette Auctions

MILWAUKEE - The 2001 Great Alaska Shootout Championship banner, which hung in the Bradley Center, highlights new items recently added to the auction site.

The 2001 Great Alaska Shootout featured MU superstar Dwyane Wade's breakout performance on the national stage. Wade was named Most Oustanding Player of the Great Alaska Shootout after defeating Gonzaga, Tennessee and eventual NCAA Runner-up Indiana to claim the tournament title.

The current Miami Heat guard poured in a game-high 21 points and hit the game-winning bucket with 11 seconds remaining to beat Indiana and notched then-season highs in points (30) and assists (8) vs. the Vols.

Game-worn jerseys of Dominic James, Dwight Buycks and Dan Fitzgerald are all up for bid, as well as an autographed uniform of Joseph Fulce.

For authentic team-issued, game-worn and autographed Marquette memorabilia, check back throughout the summer as new items are added each Wednesday.

All proceeds benefit the Blue & Gold Scholarship Fund.
