The Marquette University men's basketball team hosted the annual Blue & Gold Fund Fish Fry/Haunted Hoops Scrimmage Friday night, an event that's always a fan favorite for the Golden Eagle faithful.
A busy weekend of MU athletics home events started with volleyball's matchup against league rival Creighton at 6 p.m. The Golden Eagles responded by sweeping the Bluejays and claimed first place in the BIG EAST Conference in the process.
Fans in attendance were treated to the opportunity to share dinner with the team at the Alumni Memorial Union, before heading to the Al McGuire Center for children's Halloween games, a costume parade and the intrasquad scrimmage.
The season opener, Nov. 8 versus Southern at the BMO Harris Bradley Center, is now just two weeks away.
