The Marquette University men's tennis team (11-11) picked up a pair of non-conference victories Saturday at Helfaer Tennis Stadium, downing Cleveland State 4-3 before sweeping Chicago State 7-0 in the nightcap.
The Golden Eagles, who are in the middle of a four-match homestand, are now 9-3 at home in 2012-13.
Marquette claimed the valuable doubles point in the win over Cleveland State and secured the team victory with singles decisions by juniors Dan Mamalat and Logon Collins and sophomore Vukasin Teofanovic.
MU swept all three doubles matches versus Chicago St. and didn't drop a single set in singles competition.
The Golden Eagles return to action April 12 at 6 p.m. when the team hosts DePaul.
