Marquette's SAAC Sponsors Coat Drive

MILWAUKEE— Marquette University's Student Athlete Advisory Committee is sponsoring a Winter Coat Drive to benefit the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.

Donations of coats, gloves, mittens, hats and scarves of any size will be accepted up until the women's volleyball match this Friday, Oct. 31 at the Al McGuire Center. The following day, student-athletes will gather in the Marquette Gym to sort all items collected.

Boxes for the winter gear are placed in various locations around campus including the Al McGuire Center, Marquette Gym, the AMU and campus dorms and apartments.

Before fall break, student-athletes began to the initiative by placing the boxes and requesting donations from MU students.
