Marquette Defeats Montana 4-3 Friday Afternoon

The Marquette University men's tennis team (10-6) opened a three-match non-conference road swing Friday afternoon with a 4-3 victory over Montana in Boise, Idaho.
Freshman Nick Dykema clinched the team victory with a 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 decision at No. 4 singles. Also earning singles wins were senior Dan Mamalat at No. 1 and junior Vukasin Teofanovic at No. 2.
Marquette earned the valuable doubles point with victories at No. 1 and No. 3. The team returns to action Saturday afternoon against Boise State.
