Marquette Concludes Hoosier Classic

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.--The Marquette University women's tennis team finished competition at the Hoosier Classic on Sunday morning.

Freshman Silvia Ambrosio fell in the singles final of Flight 1, 7-5, 1-6, 1-0 (10-7), as senior Erin Gebes also faltered in the same flight in a long, 7-6 (5), 2-6, 0-1 (9-11) battle against Western Michigan.

Paula Tormos Sanchez dropped a 6-0, 6-1 decision to the host Hoosiers.

Marquette will travel to the Arizona for the Arizona Wildcat Invitational. Play will begin on Friday, Oct. 2.
