Taylor Louis earns Honor Roll nod

NEW YORK - Marquette University outside hitter Taylor Louis was named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll on Monday in the league's final set of weekly awards.
Louis led the Golden Eagles (23-7, 13-5 BIG EAST) to a 1-1 week with a team-best 5.88 kills per set in a pair of matches at Butler and Xavier. The Skokie, Illinois native landed 25 kills and picked up 12 digs in the win at Butler on Friday evening and posted 22 kills in Saturday's 3-1 loss at Xavier in Cincinnati.
The BIG EAST's postseason awards are slated to be released on Tuesday.
Second-seeded Marquette begins semifinal action in the 2016 BIG EAST Women's Volleyball Championship on Friday, Nov. 25 at Hinkle Fieldhouse against third-seeded Xavier at 2 p.m. Central time. The Golden Eagles are searching for their second conference tournament crown.
