
Marquette Wraps Up Play At Purdue Invite

The Marquette University men's tennis team concluded play at the Purdue Fall Invitational on Saturday in West Lafayette, Ind.
The Golden Eagles competed in singles and doubles play at the Schwartz Tennis Center, represented by a total of four players. The event will conclude on Sunday, but Marquette will head back to Milwaukee Saturday night.
Freshmen Luke Smrek and Brandon Shanklin advanced to the semifinals of the Flight A doubles draw before falling to their opponents from IUPUI.
Marquette was able to claim multiple wins in consolation action on Saturday.
