Women's soccer hosts lone home event
The women's soccer team hosts the lone home event of the weekend on Saturday evening at Valley Fields as the Golden Eagles welcome Xavier to Milwaukee for a 7 p.m. kickoff on 'Senior Night.' MU will honor sixth-year graduate student Darian Powell as well as a quartet of four-year student-athletes in Caroline Fink, Eli Beard, Kirsten Timmer and Madison Dunker. The match will air live on the BIG EAST Digital Network through FOX Sports Go.

Men's basketball mini-plans now available
The 2017-18 Marquette basketball mini plan features a four-game flex plan, with two games 'locked' into the plan and the opportunity to choose the final two from predetermined options.
The 'National Marquette Day' matchup with Providence (Feb. 3) and the last regular season home game in the BMO Harris Bradley Center against Creighton (March 4) will be included in all mini-plans.
Fans will then select one game from each of the following categories: 'Non-Conference' Options and the 'BIG EAST Weekend' Options.
The Non-Conference Options: Choose either Purdue (Nov. 14) OR Georgia (Dec. 2)
The BIG EAST Weekend Options: Choose either Georgetown (Dec. 30) OR Villanova (Jan. 28)
Each mini plan purchased will also receive a bonus ticket to the home opener against Mount St. Mary's on November 10! Pricing for mini plans start at $69.

October 'Blue & Gold Status' honorees announced
Women's basketball player Allazia Blockton, women's thrower Maya Marion and men's lacrosse players Anthony Orsini and Garrett Moya were all honored for the month of October by Marquette's academic support staff for their contributions academically, athletically and in the community.

Greg Elliott claims dunk crown at Marquette Madness
Motor City native Greg Elliott claimed the title of Marquette Madness Dunk Champion on Friday evening in his first time in front of fans on the Al McGuire Court. Marquette fans got their first glimpse of Elliott and MU's other newcomers in a short scrimmage that preceded the dunk contest, while the women's squad - the 2017 BIG EAST tournament champion - also held its own scrimmage.

Women's basketball to host fantasy camp Oct. 24
The second annual Marquette Women's Basketball Fantasy Camp, hosted by MU staff and student-athletes will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at the Al McGuire Center beginning at 6 p.m.
Fantasy Campers will be taken through several drills, stations, and presentations to enhance basketball fundamentals and gain a better understanding of the game. The evening will conclude with an opportunity to mingle with the players and staff.
The two-hour camp is completely free of charge and although children are not able to participate they are welcome to spectate from the sidelines. Men and women age 25 and older are eligible to take part in the exciting evening.

Help Butch Lee's hurricane recovery efforts in Puerto Rico
With much of Puerto Rico's buildings and infrastructure devastated from the effects of Hurricane Maria, former men's basketball player Butch Lee has started a GoFundMe campaign to assist fellow American citizens thorough is business location in San Juan.
Lee is MU's only Naismith Award winner in program history and competed on the Puerto Rican national team in the 1976 Olympics in Montreal, nearly single-handedly defeating the United States squad with a 35-point effort.
