Marquette Wraps Up Fall Campaign At Illinois State

Four members of the Marquette University men's tennis team will travel to Normal, Ill. this weekend for the Redbird Invitational (Nov. 3-4), hosted by Illinois State to conclude the fall portion of the 2017-18 campaign.
The Redbird Invitational consists of Illinois State, Eastern Illinois, Butler, and Marquette. Tournament format features a portion of singles action split two out of three with a super breaker in lieu of a third set. Doubles will be set up in eight-game pro sets with a tiebreaker at 7-7.
Julian Robinson, Eddie Griesedieck, Brandon Shanklin, and Alexander Warstler will represent the Golden Eagles this weekend in singles and doubles play. Last weekend, Brett Meyers and Luis Heredia Gomez earned a pair of victories at the ITA Midwest Regional, hosted by the University of Michigan.
