The Marquette University men's tennis team wrapped up the fall portion of its 2017-18 campaign with action Sunday at the Redbird Fall Classic, hosted by Illinois State.
The Golden Eagles were represented by four players at the tourney. Freshmen Eddie Griesedieck and Julian Robinson joined sophomores Alexander Warstler and Brandon Shanklin in singles and doubles competition.
Shanklin finished the weekend 3-0 on the weekend in singles action, claiming wins over opponents from Eastern Illinois and ISU. Also picking up victories were Griesedieck and Warstler.
MU will return to action on January 19, 2018 when the squad opens dual play at Iowa.
