Markus Howard tied a career-high with 34 points in Tuesday's victory over Vermont at the BMO Harris Bradley Center and has scored 96 points in Marquette's last three contests. The sophomore is the first MU player to record multiple 30-point games in the same season since Travis Diener had three such contests in 2004-05. His three-game point total is the most since Tony Miller scored 97 from Feb. 26-March 3, 1990 as Marquette defeated Evansville, Detroit and Butler at the Bradley Center.

Since the inception in the mid-1990's, the Blue & Gold Fund has provided over $52 million in scholarship support to Marquette student-athletes. Currently, Marquette funds the equivalent of 96 full-tuition scholarships on an annual basis through revenues generated by annual giving and proceeds from athletic endowed scholarships. The NCAA permits Marquette to offer the equivalent of 136 full athletic scholarships and MU has not yet reached its potential to maximize aid to MU student-athletes.
