The Marquette University men's tennis team (5-3) got back on the winning track with a 6-1 non-conference victory over Green Bay Friday night at Helfaer Tennis Stadium.
The Golden Eagles opened the match by claiming the doubles points, earning wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions. Marquette would post straight-set wins in five of the six singles matchups, but were pushed a tiebreaker in the first set in several of the matchups.
The Golden Eagles return to action on Friday, March 3 when they travel to rival Wisconsin for a 5 p.m. CT opening serve.
