
Marquette Heads To ITA All-American

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Five members of the Marquette University men's tennis team will travel to Tulsa, Okla. for the 2017 Saint Francis Health System ITA Men's All-American Championships.
Alvaro Verdu, Greg Anderson, Luke Smrek, and Luis Heredia Gomez will compete in the prequalifying rounds while Brett Meyers has been selected for the qualifying round.
Pre-qualifying matches are slated to begin on Saturday, Sept. 30, with qualifying matches starting on Monday, Oct. 2 and main draw contests commencing on Oct. 5. This marks the 13th-straight year that the University of Tulsa will serve as the official tournament host.
Singles quarterfinalists, doubles finalists and consolation champions will receive an automatic entry into the 2017 USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships.
The Golden Eagles wrapped up play in the 2017 Milwaukee Tennis Classic on Friday, Sept. 22 with main draw play in both singles and doubles.
