
Jacob Richard and B.J. Grill to take part in Saturday's Team USA Fall Classic

Former MU All-Americans will join Joe Amplo with Team USA against NCAA Champion Yale
MILWAUKEE - Former Marquette University All-American men's lacrosse players B.J. Grill and Jacob Richard will suit up for Team USA on Saturday against reigning NCAA champion Yale in the Team USA Fall Classic at US Lacrosse headquarters in Sparks, Maryland.
The U.S.-Yale men's matchup is the first game of a doubleheader at Tierney Field at 11 a.m. Central time with the U.S. women also facing James Madison at 2 p.m. CT.

Grill and Richard will join Team USA assistant coach and MU head coach Joe Amplo along with seven members of the gold medal winning squad from the 2018 FIL World Championship this summer in Israel. Also on the 24-man roster is former MU volunteer assistant coach Ryan Brown, who earned All-World honors over the summer.
Richard, who is a current Marquette assistant coach, was a member of the Team USA training team and competed with the squad in the 2018 MLL All-Star game alongside former MU teammate Liam Byrnes. Richard and Grill are the older brothers of current Golden Eagles and All-BIG EAST players Noah Richard and Nick Grill.
Former Marquette assistant coach Andrew Stimmel is on the coaching staff at Yale and helped the Bulldogs to the NCAA title this spring.
