WBB Moves Wednesday's Home Game To UWM

The Marquette University women's basketball game against UW-Milwaukee, originally scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 28 at the Al McGuire Center, will now be played at the Klotsche Center on UWM's campus.

The Al McGuire Center, which was damaged during a car accident over the weekend, won't be ready for any events until the volleyball team hosts the NCAA tournament Nov. 30-Dec. 1.

"We are working through all of the logistics in terms of seating and access, but we will be ready to host postseason volleyball this weekend," Vice President and Director of Athletics Bill Scholl said. "We are very appreciative of the support from Amanda Braun and her staff taking on the women's basketball game, as well as the efforts of those involved from our athletics and University staffs to prepare the Al for NCAA Volleyball."

The women's basketball team's home game vs. Michigan on Sunday, Dec. 2 remains scheduled for the Al McGuire Center.
