MU Wraps Up Fall Campaign In Texas

Four players to represent squad in Austin
The Marquette University men's tennis team will conclude its fall schedule at the Longhorn Invitational in Austin, Texas, from Friday, Nov. 9 – Sunday, Nov. 11.
The Golden Eagles most recently wrapped up play at both the Gopher Invitational and the Redbird Invitational last weekend. The squad collected multiple singles and doubles victories, led at Minnesota by a strong performance from senior Greg Anderson.
A total of 17 teams will be participating in this weekend's action hosted by the University of Texas, including Auburn, Baylor, Iowa, Liberty, Louisville, LSU, Marquette, Miami, Rice, St. Edwards, TCU, Texas Tech, Tyler Junior College, Tulane, UCF and University of Louisiana-Lafayette.
The format will run as four singles compass draws and four doubles compass draws. The Golden Eagles will send Alvaro Verdu, Brett Meyers, Luis Heredia Gomez and Brandon Shanklin to compete in the final weekend of action for the fall.
Marquette will return to the court for dual play at the University of Iowa on Jan. 19.
