The Marquette University men's tennis team (7-3) dropped a 4-0 decision at Indiana (8-5) Friday afternoon in non-conference action at the IU Tennis Center.
The Golden Eagles, who are in the midst of a six-match road swing, return to action on Saturday, March 3 when they travel to IUPUI. Opening serve is set for 3:30 p.m. CT.
Sophomore Brett Meyers and junior Alvaro Verdu were able to claim a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles against the Hoosiers, but unfortunately it was the lone victory MU earned on Friday. Indiana claimed the doubles point with wins at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions and then collected a trio of straight-set singles decisions to earn the team victory.
