AZUSA, Calif. - Amid ideal weather conditions on their final day in California, the Marquette University men's and women's track and field teams concluded action with high marks and fast times.
"Overall, I was very pleased with the results we had this weekend," said Marquette head coach Bert Rogers. "It's nice to come out to California and compete in warm weather especially when we've struggled so much with weather this year in the Midwest.
"It was nice to come out here and take advantage of it and I like where we're coming out of this weekend, taking our success into next weekend at the Drake Relays."
The squad combined to record 12 personal-bests on Friday, including seven on the men's side, and four all-time list marks.
