Golden Eagles Travel to the Hoosiers Classic

MU is competing in its second fall tournament of the season
BLOOMINGTON, Ind.-- The Marquette women's tennis team will travel for the first time this fall season with the Hoosier Classic, Friday Sept. 28 – Sunday Sept. 30
In addition to the Hoosiers, the event will feature Cincinnati, Louisville, Ohio State, Kansas State, Marquette, Western Michigan and Middle Tennessee State.
The Golden Eagles return five players from last season and have two newcomers.
Marquette began the fall season last weekend at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic where Natalija Popovic and Fleur Eggink took down the No. 3 seed and fell in an exciting doubles quarterfinals round.
Following the Hoosier Classic, the Golden Eagles will make the short trip to Evanston, Ill. to compete in the Northwestern Tournament, Friday Oct. 5 – Sunday Oct. 7.
