Noah Richard named BIG EAST Midfielder of the Week

Richard posted a goal and assist in MU's season-opening win over Bellarmine
NEW YORK – Senior Noah Richard of Marquette University's men's lacrosse team was honored as the BIG EAST Conference Midfielder of the Week for his role in Marquette's 15-9 victory over Bellarmine on Saturday afternoon.
The West Chester, Pennsylvania native posted a goal and an assist in Saturday's season opener at Valley Fields. He also added a ground ball, while helping to hold the Knights to just 31 total shots, 17 on goal.
Richard was a unanimous choice on the All-BIG EAST First Team as a junior at LSM and was also pegged by the league's coaches to the preseason all-conference team.
The Golden Eagles head to Jacksonville, Florida for their second game of the season on Friday, February 15. Faceoff against Jacksonville at DB Milne Field is slated for 6 p.m. Central time.
