FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Austin Kendziorski shot an opening round 66 to give Marquette its lowest individual round of the season, while Oliver Farrell's 67 paced the Golden Eagles in a 4-under-par 280 round and a tie for seventh after 18 holes at the Mason Rudolph Championship, hosted by Vanderbilt.
Kendziorski, playing as an individual, had the clubhouse lead upon his finish with a 5-under-par round on the Par 71, 7,100-yard Vanderbilt Legends Club course - he was tied for fourth at the conclusion of play on Friday. Kendziorski's round was bogey-free, and tied for the second-lowest single-round score of his collegiate career.

Farrell and Matthew Bachmann (73, 2-over-par) made eagles in the opening round for the Golden Eagles, who now have 17 for the season. MU entered the weekend ranked 14th in the nation in eagles made.
Tennessee shot a 15-under-par 269 to lead the tournament through 18 holes - UT's Nolan Ray and Kentucky's Cullan Brown shot 7-under-par 64s to lead the 90-man field.
