Connolly switched from LSM down to close defense as a junior and graduated as one of MU's best
1. Proudest moment as a Marquette men's lacrosse player?
Brendon Connolly: My proudest moment was beating Denver who was No. 1 at the time and winning the first BIG EAST Championship.
2. Most memorable experience at Marquette?
Connolly: My most memorable experience was everyone dancing in the locker room during our weather delay at Denver my freshman year.
3. Best advice you've been given by a coach at Marquette?
Connolly: Gain 30 pounds and learn to cross check so you can play close defense.
4. Best advice from a teammate at Marquette?
Connolly: Don't shoot the ball.
5. Best advice for a future Marquette player?
Connolly: I would tell them jump two feet in and commit to working hard because it all pays off on the field.
6. What has motivated you?
Connolly: That I wasn't told I could play college lacrosse at a very young age and went pretty much un-recruited.
7. Most memorable game?
Connolly: The first time we played Denver my freshman year because I scored my only goal of my career.
8. How do you feel you've changed at Marquette?
Connolly: I have learned it isn't worth doing something unless I jump two feet in and commit to working hard at it.
9. Will you take with you as you move on from Marquette?
Connolly: If you build relationships with the people around you, it will make everything you do more enjoyable and worth it.
