Men's and Women's Soccer Teams Release Promotional Schedule

MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University men's and women's soccer teams are excited to announce the promotional schedule for the 2019 season at Valley Fields.
Both teams have a variety of giveaways for fans, ranging from food items to Marquette gear. The fun begins on Sunday, Aug. 25, when the men's team plays an exhibition against MKE Torrent.
"FanFest," which features inflatable games and numerous other activities for fans, will take place the day of the exhibition. Additionally, the MU men's team will sign autographs before the game and fans can take pictures with the Golden Eagle. Free Qdoba (while supplies last) will be available for fans at halftime.
The men's schedule features 11 home games in 2019, including non-conference match-ups against Notre Dame, UAB, UC Davis, Northern Illinois and St. Louis plus five BIG EAST Conference foes. The promotional highlights include: National Beach Day (vs. UAB – Aug. 30), Storm Area 51 Night (vs. Creighton - Sept. 20) and Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Night (vs. Green Bay - Oct. 8).
The women host nine games at Valley Fields in 2019, beginning with a huge non-conference clash against the Michigan Wolverines. MU also hosts Utah State, Northern Illinois and Colorado State before BIG EAST play begins at the end of September. The promotional calendar also features a plethora of intriguing events, including the third annual petting zoo (vs. Utah State – Sept. 8), Skills and Drills for Girl Scouts and Kids Club (vs. Creighton – Oct. 6), and Breast Cancer Awareness Night (vs. Villanova – Oct. 20).
Season-long promotions for both teams include t-shirt tosses after goals scored and a Marquette scarf, which is offered to all season ticket holders and student rewards members who attend 8 total games (must check-in on the rewards app each time).
Men's soccer opens the regular season at Valley Fields on Friday, Aug. 30 against UAB at 7:05 p.m., while the women's team plays its first home match on Sunday, Sept. 1 at 2:30 p.m. when the Michigan Wolverines come to town.
Tickets for all regular season home games are now on sale. Single game tickets are priced at $5 while groups of fifteen or more are $2 per person. Season tickets are $45 and include admission to all games as well as an exclusive Marquette Soccer scarf.
