#MUBB in the NBA Playoffs:
- Two Marquette alumni participated in the NBA Finals last week.
- Jimmy Butler ('11) and Jae Crowder ('12) are both starters for the Miami Heat, who lost the series 4-2 to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Men's Soccer Hosts Intrasquad Scrimmage:
- Last week, the men's soccer team had its first intrasquad scrimmage of the year at Valley Fields, with redshirt junior Zak Wegner and junior forward Lukas Sunesson tallying the goals in a 1-1 draw.

Symir Torrence (MBB) Featured In Recent Article:
- Sophomore guard Symir Torrence was spotlighted recently by Syracuse.com.Ā
- The Syracuse native discussed multiple points, including his recent summer trip with former teammate Markus Howard, his maturation during the offseason, and his goals for the upcoming season.
Syracuse native Symir Torrence enters his sophomore year at Marquette. He's hoping to have more of an impact on a guard-heavy rotation and to take advantage of all he's learned.

Brendon Connelly Rejoins MLAX Coaching Staff:
- Recent MLAX graduate Brendon Connelly will be back on the sidelines for the team this season.
- The former defenseman served as an undergraduate assistant last year, but will now serve as a volunteer assistant.
