Marquette University men's lacrosse players have scattered across the world since graduation. This Alumni Spotlight feature provides personal and professional updates on the student-athletes who represented the University on the field and continue to be ambassadors.
Though he played just one season as a graduate student, Jordan Greenfield left and indelible mark on Marquette during his brief tenure. The attackman scored 34 goals and posted 52 points during that campaign, marks that still rank No. 2 and 3, respectively, in program history. The lefty also paced one of the most prolific offenses ever at MU as the Golden Eagles notched a program-record 247 points on 163 goals and 84 assists.

Location:Â
Recently moved from Boston to Las Vegas, Nevada.
Â
Career Path:Â
After working with a few early-stage companies after leaving Marquette I became ambitious to start a company of my own. I founded hoo.be which will own the "Link in Bio" space for creators, athletes and celebrities (eg: hoo.be/MarquetteMLax, hoo.be/arlin & hoo.be/katieaustin). You can find hoo.be on Instagram at @hoo.be.
Â
I recently founded & launched my second company called Aloe Attiva, an aloe-powdered, waterless skincare brand based out of Genoa, Italy. I founded Aloe Attiva with my uncle, Marco Vernazza, who has been successful in the skincare & beauty space for 25+ years in Italy. Prior to launching this October we raised $1M of funding which was led by NBA Agent Jeff Austin (Represents athletes including Stephen Curry and Milwaukee star Giannis Antetokounmpo) and his fitness star wife and daughter @deniseaustin & @katieaustin. You can find Aloe Attiva on Instagram at @aloeattiva.
Â
Marquette Memories:Â
Funny enough one of my best Marquette memories in a lot of ways came from a loss. Specifically, halftime of a road game against Georgetown in which they jumped to an 8-2 first-half lead. We were off to a 7-0 start to that season and this is a position we weren't yet used to being in as a team.
Â
It was during that halftime when I realized how much all of my teammates, coaches, and Marquette truly meant to me. In the second half, we fought hard to come back but lost 10-9 in dramatic fashion. There were so many incredible lessons learned from this game alone.
Â
Fun Fact:Â
I hosted the 2015 student-athlete talent show at Marquette after only being on campus for six months. It was an honor but certainly nerve-racking.
