Freshmen represent four different countries
The Marquette University men's tennis team has officially announced the addition of five newcomers to the program for the 2020-21 campaign.
Ian Brady (Indianapolis, IN/North Central HS), Pablo Dale (Wauwatosa, WI/Brookfield Academy), Jan Jauch (Fluelen, Switzerland/American International School), Nikola Kijac (Belgrade, Serbia/ Gimnazija Milos Crnjanski) and Tin Krstulovic (Velenje, Slovenia/ SCV Gimnazija Velenje) will arrive on campus this summer and each have four seasons of eligibility with the Golden Eagles.
Marquette's four-member senior class helped lead the program to its first-ever BIG EAST Conference title and a pair of other appearances in the championship match, leaving opportunity for both returnees and newcomers to contribute in the lineup.
"We are extremely excited about this group and what it brings to our program, not only this season, but for those to come as well," head coach Steve Rodecap said. "They all have the talent and skill necessary to compete at this level and provide us with a tremendous amount of depth on our roster.
"While our four seniors unfortunately had their respective final seasons cut short, they had a tremendous impact on and off the court and have helped build on the foundation of what we want our program to represent," Rodecap added.
