Marquette Athletics Programs Return to On-Field Workouts:
- Multiple Marquette Athletics teams returned to workouts in the past few weeks, first getting time in the weight room before returning to their courts and fields this week.

- Two Marquette alumni are playing in the Eastern Conference Finals this week, both as members of the Miami Heat.
- Jimmy Butler ('11) and Jae Crowder ('12) are both starters for the Heat, who took down the Milwaukee Bucks last week and are now looking to defeat the Boston Celtics for a trip to the NBA Finals.

- The Heat lead the series 2-1, getting significant contributions from both Butler and Crowder. Game 4 takes place Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN.
- Butler has totaled 20, 14 and 17 points in the first three games, while adding strong defense and rebounding.
- Crowder has added 22, 12 and 10 points in the series, giving the Heat an important presence in the frontcourt.

- Former Marquette player Doc Rivers is the head coach of the Los Angeles Clippers, who also earned a playoff spot, but got eliminated by the Denver Nuggets last week in the Western Conference Finals.
#MUWBB in the WNBA Playoffs:
- Natisha Hiedeman ('19) is a member of the WNBA's Connecticut Sun, who are currently playing in the league's playoffs.
- The Sun defeated the Los Angeles Sparks in an elimination game, then defeated the Las Vegas Aces yesterday in game one of the semifinal series.
- Hiedeman totaled 14 points in 17 minutes against the Aces, adding three rebounds and three assists.

MU's Connor McClelland (MLAX) Drafted Into NLL:
- Men's lacrosse redshirt senior midfielder Connor McClelland was drafted into the National Lacrosse League on Thursday.
Connor McClelland (@Mclucks13), goes 12th overall to the @SaskRushLAX, becoming the highest-drafted player in program history. He is the third MU player to be selected by the Rush. #NLLDraft

- McClelland, who plays left defense in the box game and has experience with the Brampton Excelsiors, was drafted by the Saskatchewan Rushwith the 12th pick of the draft, the highest-drafted player in MU history.

MU Teams Conduct Socially-Distant Picture Days:
- 15 of the 16 Marquette Athletics programs had their picture days this week. Student-athletes were able to maintain social distance and wore masks except when it was time for them to get their pictures taken.
