#MUBB in the NBA Playoffs:
- Two Marquette alumni are headed to the NBA Finals after defeating the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals last week.Ā
- Jimmy Butler ('11) and Jae Crowder ('12) are both starters for the Miami Heat, who took down the Celtics in six games. The Heat will now face the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA Finals, tentatively set to begin Wednesday.

MSOC Embraces International Favor:
- The Marquette men's soccer team features players from five countries other than the United States, which provides the team with a heavy international influence.Ā
- "We love that people have come from different areas," head coach Louis Bennett said. "The majority of our team is American-born and a lot of them are Midwesterners, but I believe that the variety makes us stronger."

Cross Country Athletes Stay Positive Despite Uncertainty:
- The Marquette cross country program has a completely new look with a now-permanent head coach and new leaders at the helm.
- Despite the cancellation of their fall season, the runners are still trying to stay motivated and keep themselves active this semester.Ā
- "We still hold each other accountable by running and having something to train for," Tiongson said. "We're still training, getting our runs in every day. Some of us have set goals for later in the fall, even if we don't have a season, to (get a) personal record in a longer distance event, to keep us motivated in a way."

Allie Barber (VB) Talks About Postgraduate Plans:
- Former All-American volleyball player Allie Barber ('20) was much more than just an athlete at Marquette, earning a 3.98 GPA in the biomedical sciences major.
- Now that Marquette's most decorated volleyball player in program historyĀ has graduated, she has focused fully on something other than volleyball: medical school.
