Wolf named to BIG EAST Honor Roll

Wolf hit .380 and averaged 3.70 kills per set in a 2-0 week
NEW YORK - Marquette University women's volleyball player Taylor Wolf was named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll for women's volleyball, the league announced on Monday afternoon.
Wolf led the Golden Eagles to a 2-0 week with wins over St. John's and Seton Hall with a team-high 3.71 kills and 4.50 points per set. She hit a team-best .380 over the weekend, while also posting 5.00 assists and 3.14 digs per set along with four service aces and three blocks. Wolf notched 14 kills on .417 hitting in the sweep of the Red Storm along with three aces and a block. In Saturday's win over the Pirates, she recorded her fourth triple-double of the season with 12 kills, 24 assists and 13 digs while hitting .346.
She's part of a Marquette offense that leads the league with a .279 hitting percentage that ranks 10th nationally.
It is the fourth weekly honor this season for Wolf, who has been BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week three times, including last week for her play at Providence and Creighton on Oct. 8-10.
The Golden Eagles resume action on Wednesday, Oct. 20 in a noon matchup with DePaul at Al McGuire Center. Marquette then hits the road for a Saturday game at UConn.
