
Wolf selected to BIG EAST Honor Roll

Taylor Wolf had her NCAA-leading third triple-double on Friday
NEW YORK - Marquette University graduate student Taylor Wolf was named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll for women's volleyball, the league announced on Monday afternoon.
The accolade is the fifth weekly honor this season for Wolf, who has also been selected as the league's offensive player of the week three times. Wolf led the Golden Eagles to a 1-1 week against then-No. 24 Creighton and Providence and recorded her NCAA-leading sixth triple-double of the season on Friday against the Jays.Â
She hit .302 for the Golden Eagles, while leading the team in assists (5.57 per set) and ranking second in digs (3.43/set). Wolf led MU with 13 kills against No. 24 Creighton on Friday night and added 19 digs and a pair of blocks. In Saturday's win over Providence, Wolf posted three service aces and a team-high 20 assists.
Marquette begins a four-match road swing this weekend with matches at Seton Hall on Friday and St. John's on Saturday afternoon.
