Opponent COVID-19 issues have canceled MU’s Feb. 13 opener
MILWAUKEE – The Marquette University men's lacrosse season opener against Cleveland State, scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 13, has been canceled due to COVID-19 issues within the Cleveland State program.
The Golden Eagles are now set to begin the 2021 campaign on Saturday, Feb. 20 against No. 10 Denver in Milwaukee at 11 a.m. Central time.
Schedule and championship information is subject to change based on COVID-19 developments. Marquette home competitions will continue to be held without fans until further notice in accordance with state and local guidelines.
