Illinois, UCLA highlight home slate: Fiserv Forum hosts NCAA tourney March 18-20
The Marquette University men's basketball team has announced its 2021-22 non-conference schedule, which is highlighted by visits to Fiserv Forum from Illinois and UCLA.
Marquette Athletics is currently planning on a return to full capacity at all of its home events beginning in August, both on and off campus, and season ticket information for the 2021-22 campaign is now available. The renewal process is already underway and Marquette Select will be held in August. For complete information on season tickets please visit GoMarquette.com, call the Marquette Ticket Office at 414-288-4668 or email athletics@marquette.edu.
Marquette opens the regular season Nov. 9 against SIUE, coached by former player Brian Barone, the program's debut under new head coach Shaka Smart. Illinois visits Milwaukee for the first time since 1993 as part of the Gavitt Tipoff Games on Nov. 15 and UCLA will complete the home-and-home series on Dec. 11.
Group packages, mini plans and single-game ticket information will become available in the coming weeks.
The team will also add an exhibition game prior to the season lidlifter against SIUE.
Marquette and Fiserv Forum are also scheduled to host the first and second rounds of the 2022 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship on March 18 and 20, 2022. MU season ticket members will have priority access to a special pre-sale this Fall and more details will be available later this summer.
