Men's Soccer to Hold Alumni Appreciation Night

Former players to be honored at halftime
MILWAUKEE — The Marquette men's soccer team will host its annual Alumni Appreciation Night on Saturday, Oct. 2, coinciding with its match against Providence that evening.
The day's events will begin with an alumni pick up game from 2-4 p.m. at Valley Fields, followed by a pre-game tailgate at 6 p.m. All MU men's soccer alumni and their families are invited to join. The match will begin at 7:05 p.m., and a brief ceremony will be held on the field during halftime to recognize all former players in attendance.
"A lot of what the program is today was built on the shoulders of guys from past eras. I think it's important to keep them engaged and to have their support," said Daniel Jarosz, assistant coach and former player for MU. "This weekend will be a good opportunity to be able to bring people back together, and I think it's important for our current guys to see some of the alumni coming together and showing support for what they do."
