Hattie Bray named to NCAA All-Regional Team

The redshirt freshman had 10 kills and hit .375
AUSTIN, Texas -Â Marquette University redshirt freshman middle blocker Hattie Bray was named to the all-tournament team for the NCAA Austin Regional.
Bray posted 10 kills on .375 hitting along with a solo block in the regional semifinal matchup with No. 1 Texas. She was instrumental in a 25-19 third set win for the Golden Eagles with six kills on eight swings (.625) and a block.
In her first season of competition, Bray hit .354 with 2.16 kills per set and notched 85 total blocks in 116 sets. She was named to the All-BIG EAST Conference Team and was a member of the league's all-freshman squad.
Bray and the Golden Eagles advanced to the NCAA Third Round for the second time in program history and Marquette captured its second BIG EAST regular season championship in as many years.
