Volleyball to host Youth Camp and Fall League in Mequon

MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University women's volleyball program will host the Marquette Volleyball Fall League on Mondays and Wednesdays from Sept. 14 to Nov. 3 at the Athlete Performance Sports Complex in Mequon for fourth-sixth grade boys and girls.
Start times for both days are by grade level: fourth graders start at 5:15 p.m., fifth graders at 6:15 p.m., and sixth graders begin at 7:15 p.m. Mondays will run for 60 minutes while Wednesdays will run for 50 minutes.
The Fall League teaches fundamental concepts and foundational skills of volleyball in a fun environment, emphasizing instruction and participation and led by the Marquette volleyball coaching staff. Skills will be developed through a combination of training sessions on Mondays to help build confidence for competitive play on Wednesdays. Teams can consist of just boys, just girls or co-ed.
Registration costs $200 per athlete (includes a t-shirt) and eight teams will be comprised of eight players in each age group. One parent coach will work with each team and the registration cost for that parent's child is $25. Parent coaches must pass a background check through the Marquette volleyball staff before being confirmed as a coach.

Participants of youth camp and fall league will also get an invitation to a fun game day with the Marquette volleyball team on campus. The event includes a pizza party with the team as well as free admission to the Marquette volleyball match featuring in-game recognition, photos, autographs and t-shirts.
