Aubrey Hamilton again on BIG EAST Honor Roll

NEW YORK – Marquette University outside hitter Aubrey Hamilton has been named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll for women's volleyball, it was announced on Monday Afternoon. It is the third time in as many weeks that Hamilton has garnered the recognition.

Hamilton led the Golden Eagles to a 2-0 week with a 3-1 win over UConn and a sweep of Providence. She had match highs of 13 and 16 kills, respectively, against the Huskies and Friars, and averaged 4.14 kills per set on .403 hitting. Hamilton added a pair of service aces, seven digs and two blocks in Saturday's win at UConn, and had three blocks and five digs on Sunday at PC.

In the nine matches (30 sets) since Hamilton was held to a -.042 (5-6-24) hitting percentage against then-No. 9 Pitt on Sept. 8, she is hitting .347 (126-27-285) with 4.20 kills per set, 10 service aces, 46 digs and 20 blocks.

The Golden Eagles return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 4 against DePaul at the Al McGuire Center. The match is slated at 11 a.m. Central time and airs live on FloSports.
