The men's lacrosse trio advances to the CSC Academic All-America ballot

GREENWOOD, Indiana – Marquette University men's lacrosse players Devon Cowan, Bobby O'Grady and Mason Woodward were each named to the College Sports Communicators 2023 Academic All-District® Men's At-Large Team, it was announced on Tuesday.
The three advance to the ballot for Academic All-America honors, the results of which will be announced on Wednesday, June 21.
Woodward and Cowan each earned perfect 4.0 grade-point averages during the spring semester and graduated with bachelor's degrees last weekend. Woodward finished his undergraduate career with a 3.82 GPA in exercise physiology, while Cowan earned a cumulative 3.73 GPA as an advertising major with a minor in marketing.
O'Grady holds a 3.84 GPA with a major in finance in Marquette's prestigious Applied Investment Management program, managing a portfolio of investments for the University.
The three are also some of the most accomplished MU men's lacrosse players of all-time. Cowan is third in Marquette history with 114 career points, including 86 goals, which ranks second all-time behind Ryan McNamara's 102 and O'Grady's 88. O'Grady's goal total has come in just 29 career games and he sits as MU's all-time leader in both man-up scores and goals per game.
Woodward has led the Golden Eagles in caused turnovers in each of his four campaigns and is the program's all-time leader in ground balls per game (4.71 per contest). He is second in program history in both ground balls and caused turnovers to former MU All-American and current member of Team USA Liam Byrnes.
