Zach Granger to play in USILA Senior All-Star Game

RADNOR, Pennsylvania - Former Marquette University men's lacrosse player Zach Granger was named to the Division I/II North roster for the 2023 USILA Senior All-Star Game, it was announced on Wednesday by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.
Granger, listed as a long-stick midfielder, is one of 27 players on the North squad, which will be led by Marist head coach Keegan Wilkinson. The game will be held at Cabrini University on Friday, May 26 at 5:30 p.m. Central time.
Granger spent six seasons (2018-23) with the Golden Eagles and recently concluded his career fifth in Marquette history in caused turnovers (48) and ninth in ground balls (85) in 45 career contests. The native of Media, Pennsylvania started each of the 40 games in which he appeared over the last four campaigns and was an All-BIG EAST Second Team selection in 2021.
He was a five-time BIG EAST All-Academic Team selection and is a member of Chi Alpha Sigma, the national student-athlete honor society. Granger was a peer leader for SHAPE (Student Health Allies & Peer Educators) and participated in mental health and wellness workshops on empathy, active listening and leading difficult discussions. He also served as a liaison with MU Sports Medicine to coordinate peer outreach to any injured MU student-athlete and started the 'Ready Squad' providing peer support to injured athletes.
Granger is the fourth MU player to be selected to play in the USILA North-South Game and the first since faceoff specialist Zachary Melillo in 2018. Jordan Greenfield and Logan Tousaw were also picked in 2015.
