Golden Eagles back in action Sunday against Drake
Chicago - The Marquette University women's tennis team (0-3) dropped a 5-2 decision to Chicago State (1-3) Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Eagles opened the match by claiming the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and 3 positions.
The Golden Eagles scored first with the doubles point, but the Cougars went on to grab four singles wins to take the team decision.
Emilija Kojcic claimed the lone singles victory for the Golden Eagles in a straight set fashion (6-1, 6-3) at the No. 1 spot.
UP NEXT: Marquette will play host to the Drake Bulldogs, Sunday, Jan. 28 at 1:00 pm CT at Elite Sports Club (River Glen).
