Golden Eagles coming off 2-0 weekend at Battle of the Banks at Rutgers
MILWAUKEE - The Marquette University women's basketball team hosts Indiana State on Tuesday, Dec. 3 at 6:30 p.m. CT at the Al McGuire Center.

Marquette is coming off a tournament win at the Battle on the Banks, a two-game multi-team event hosted by Rutgers. The Golden Eagles beat Rutgers in game one on Friday in a 59-57 thriller before beating Maryland Eastern Shore in a neutral site game Saturday, 74-48.
Skylar Forbes earned Most Valuable Player honors after averaging Forbes averaged 20.5 points and 7.0 rebounds over the two games including a career-high 23 points against Rutgers. Halle Vice earned a spot on the all-tournament team after a career-high 15 points against Maryland Eastern Shore.
Following Tuesday's game, Marquette stays home to host Illinois State on Sunday at 2 p.m. CT.

• Indiana State is coming off a 68-65 win at Southeast Missouri State on Saturday, Nov. 30.

• Forbes had seven blocks over the two games, including a career-high five against Rutgers.

• Halle Vice had a career-high 15 points, five boards and two blocks against Maryland Eastern Shore on Saturday.
• The sophomore guard 11.0 points over the two games.
• Vice has started in every game this season and got her first double double against IU Indy on Nov. 24 with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

• Lee Volker tied her career-high with 18 points Friday at Rutgers, 14 coming in the second half.
• The senior guard has scored in double-figures four times this season and is shooting 50.0 percent from the floor, good for sixth in the BIG EAST.

• Going into the Battle on the Banks, Marquette was -6 in rebounding margin on the season. The Golden Eagles outrebounded both opponents at the tournament and left with a +8 margin.
• MU is 4-0 in games this season when outrebounding its opponent.
• Marquette had 45 rebounds at Rutgers on Friday, the most rebounds in a game against an NCAA Division I opponent this season.
