O'Grady on BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

O'Grady set the new Marquette career scoring record against Michigan
NEW YORK — Marquette University attackman Bobby O'Grady has been named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll for men's lacrosse after setting a new MU career scoring standard.
O'Grady passed Ryan McNamara's career scoring record of 102 goals by scoring four times against then-No. 13/12 Michigan on Saturday. The Milton, Massachusetts native tied the record in the first quarter and broke it on a full-field pass from defenseman Noah Verlinde, right as time expired in the first half.
O'Grady leads the Golden Eagles in goals and points this season, with 17 and 19, respectively. It is his first weekly honor of the season and the tenth of his career. O'Grady is a two-time all-conference performer and part of the league's preseason All-BIG EAST Preseason Team.
MU returns home this Saturday, March 2 to battle Utah at Valley Fields. The first faceoff is slated for noon Central time and the game will air live on FloSports.
