Two Golden Eagles Set Program Records at GVSU Big Meet

Daylee Braden and Zachariah Murray both set program records in the 600m

ALLENDALE, Mich. – Marquette track and field's day at the GVSU Invite was highlighted by two Golden Eagles setting program records in the 600m.

Daylee Braden ran a 1:30.66 to set a new PR by two seconds. Braden broke her own program record she set back in December at the Blue Demon Invite.

Zachariah Murray ran a 1:18.86 to set a new PR by just under two seconds. Murray ran his previous PR in the last meet at the Meyo Invite at Notre Dame on Feb. 3.

Lexi Keppler set a new PR in the mile, running it in 5:05.48 to finish sixth in her section.

Dan Weizeorick ran the mile for the first time in his career, finishing 12th at 4:13..97.

NOTABLES:

Audrey Grimm set a new PR in the mile for the second straight event, finishing in 5:13.43.
Gretchen Pfeiffer set a new PR in the mile for second event in a row, clocking in at 5:14.64.
Nathan Hirsch set a new PR in the 600m with a time of 1:22.86.
Braden Schreiber set a new PR in the 600m with a time of 1:23.40.
Alex Watros set a new PR in the 600m with a time of 1:25.58.
Sean Kellogg set a new PR in the 5000m with a time of 15:22.74.
Keagan Morgan set a new PR with a time of 15:34.98.

UP NEXT:

Marquette travels to Ripon, Wisconsin for the second meet of the weekend on Saturday. The Dick Hendricks Invitational gets started at 10:45 a.m. CT with the sprint medley relay.
