
Track and Field Set for 2024 Outdoor Season

Golden Eagles have nine meets before BIG EAST
MILWAUKEE – Marquette University track and field is set for the 2024 outdoor season. The Golden Eagles will be sending student-athletes to nine meets before the conference championship in May.
"We are very excited to get the outdoor season started," Bert Rogers said. "One of the highlights will be our return to The Valley and Shimek Track and Field for our home meet in April. The BIG EAST Championship will be here before we know it, and we have a great schedule to prepare."
MU kicks off the outdoor season this Friday, March 29, by sending student-athletes to the WashU Distance Carnival in Saint Louis, Missouri and Redbird Challenge in Normal, Illinois.
The Golden Eagles split up for the second weekend in a row on Saturday, April 6th when part of the squad goes to Houston, Texas for the Cameron Burrell Alumni Invitational, while some student-athletes stay in Wisconsin for the WI Private College Invitational in Waukesha.
MU hosts the Marquette Invitational on Friday, April 12 at Shimek Track and Field.
Marquette heads to Terre Haute, Indiana on Thursday, March 18 for the Gibson Invitational and Multi.
Last weekend of April sees MU split up for the Drake Relays (April 25-27) and UW-Whitewater Drake Alternative (April 26).
Last meet before the conference championship is the Badger Invite in Madison, Wisconsin on Friday, May 3.
The BIG EAST Outdoor Championship is Thursday, May 9, to Saturday, May 11 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
