GoMarquette.com sits down with Justin Mintzer to talk about his time at MU. The senior attackman has been on the BIG EAST All-Academic Team since his freshman year and has played in 23 games and scored 2 goals and had 4 helpers.
1. What is your most memorable experience with the team?
Mintzer: Florida last year.
2. What's the best advice you could offer future Marquette lacrosse players?
Mintzer: Develop relationships early.
3. Most memorable game? Why?
Mintzer: Beating Penn State last year because it was such a big win.
4. What has motivated you?
Mintzer: My teammates.
5. How do you think you've changed as a player or person over your career at Marquette?
Mintzer: I have become more out going.
6. What is your favorite thing about the city of Milwaukee? Why?
Mintzer: The nachos at Cloud Red, up in Shorewood.
7. What have you learned that you will take with you as you move on from MU?
Mintzer: Strong work ethic.
8. Who is a teammate that has inspired you? Why?
Mintzer: Charlie DiGiacamo because of his work ethic and attitude every day.
